A high performance un-heated insulated jacket made from a highly durable flame retardant polyester fabric and insulated with a thermally efficient, flexible E-glass fibre blanket, fitted with Velcro straps and a moveable flap for ease of access.

The HIJD un-heated jacket provides a cost effective method of minimising heat loss from pre-heated containers and their contents. When used in conjunction with the base drum heater (HBD) heating times and energy costs are reduced.

The high quality silicone heating element of the HISD/D side drum heater is stitched into an insulated jacket made from a highly durable flame retardant polyester fabric and insulated with a thermally efficient, flexible E-glass fibre blanket.

The construction is complete with easy to use quick release buckles for simple installation and removal, 4 metres of robust power cable and either a 0°C to +40°C or 0°C to +90°C capillary thermostat (digital option available), a 145°C over-temperature limiter for further protection and has a class II double insulated element meaning that it far exceeds European safety standards. It also provides an unrivalled solution for frost protection applications.

The HTSD/E Insulated Side heater is specifically designed for melting or reducing the viscosity of products stored in metals drums that require aggressive heating, or high temperature for handling. 

This Side Drum Heater features a 0°C to 120°C or 20°C to 220°C controllable thermostat (Optional digital thermostat upgrade available), 4 metres of robust rubber coated power cable & quick release buckles for ease of installation and removal.

The jacket, which is Class II double insulated, provides recognised standards for handling products such as waxes, soaps, paints, chemicals & materials with a high water content.

Because the jacket needs to efficiently deliver heat to products which have a high level of thermal consumption, the jacket is constructed with an outer layer of silicone coated glass fibre for excellent thermal transfer and presents a great solution for maintaining consistently high application temperatures

Designed for the toughest industrial environments, this Base Drum Heater is manufactured from 2mm Mild Steel Plate for extra rigidity on uneven surfaces, the edges are tapered for safe drum location.

The heat is applied to the drum via an etched foil silicone heating element bonded under the platen area. The HBD offers uniform heating across the base of the drum, ensuring the contents is evenly heated to temperatures up to 150°C. These units can be used in conjunction with Drum Side heaters like the HSSD/D.

This side drum heater is ideal for fast & high powered heating performance, this heater incorporates a a 0°C -120°C capillary thermostat as standard, with an optional upgrade to a digital thermostat available.

The thermostat delivers precise & even heating from PFA coated, multi-stranded resistance wires. These wires are laid with optimum design throughout the heater to give superior flexibility whilst negating the physical stress caused by thermal expansion during operation.

Applying uniform surface heat to the product eliminates concerns for localised overheating and prevents damage to more sensitive materials such as sugars or glucose and other viscous materials such as soaps, fats, varnishes and chemicals allowing them to be pumped or poured with ease. A simple fixing arrangement via a hook and spring provides swift, flexible and easy installation/removal.
