Automatic Fuel Nozzles

The Husky 1GS Diesel Nozzle is the most popular automatic shut off version within the Husky nozzle offering. With its higher flow rate, it is designed for the clean and quick refuelling of vehicles with larger tanks, as well as agricultural and plant machinery. Like the other Husky fuel nozzles, the 1GS has an integrated device known as the Flo-stop®, which shuts off the fuel flow when the spout is raised above the horizontal or falls out the tank.

This durable Husky nozzle is fully constructed of aluminium and has the great design feature of the sensing port being positioned behind the spout end. This means that even after excessive use it does not get worn; the most common cause of nuisance click offs.

Another added benefit of this auto shut off fuel nozzle is its anti-air lock feature. This allows for the simple and easy priming of the pump without having to remove the fuel pump nozzle from the end of the hose. 

The Piusi A280 High Speed Diesel Nozzle is designed for the high flow refuelling of large vehicles and plant and agricultural machinery that take longer to refill due to their tank size. Thanks to its large bore spout, this is the highest flow rate automatic fuel dispensing nozzle in the Piusi range, and also benefits from a large hand opening to accommodate for the user wearing gloves. This fuel pump nozzle has an automatic shut-off mechanism that prevents the nozzle from dispensing any further fuel once the vehicle’s tank is full, therefore stopping an overspill.

The Piusi A140 diesel nozzle is automatic fuel nozzle design for private, non-resale refuelling of vehicles. This standard automatic diesel nozzle has strong aluminium housing encased in rubber that provides extra protection and makes the grip more comfortable even at low temperature.  As an automatic fuel pump nozzle, it will shut off when the tank is full, preventing an overfill scenario and allowing the safe use of the integrated 3 positions stay open latch. The Piusi Auto 140 has higher flow rate compared to A120 which makes it a perfect solution for high speed, powered diesel pump systems such as the Piusi E140 pump, and for refuelling vehicles with larger tanks such as large agricultural and plant machinery.

The Piusi SB325_X AdBlue™ Nozzle is a lightweight, plastic automatic nozzle with a stainless steel breakaway spout for use with AdBlue pump systems. The breakaway spout mechanism ensures that if the vehicle accidently drives away leaving the nozzle still  in the vehicle's fill point, the spout will detach from the body of the nozzle. This means that damage will be limited to the spout only which can be replaced as a spare part, and the AdBlue pump system on the storage tank will not be pulled away with the force. Thanks to the integrated K24 digital flow meter, this AdBlue™ nozzle has the added functionality for the user to conveniently view how much fluid has been dispensed into the vehicle.

Made from lightweight plastic but with a sturdy stainless steel spout, this Piusi nozzle is a cost effective alternative to the completely stainless steel automatic AdBlue™ nozzles previously only available on the market. Like these more expensive models, it still reliably shuts off dispensing when the AdBlue tank becomes full to prevent any overspill.

There is also a version of the SB325_X with added magnetic miss-filling spout to prevent AdBlue from being put in the diesel tank. This ensures that the AdBlue™ dispensing nozzle can only release fluid into a fill point that has a partnering magnetic adaptor fitted into it. The ZVA Automatic AdBlue™ Magnetic Nozzle is designed for use in conjunction with the ELAFIX 40 adaptor in order to prevent the costly miss-filling of AdBlue into the diesel tank. This magnetic spout ZVA nozzle will only allow fluid to pass once it has been magnetically opened by the ELAFIX AdBlue magnetic adaptor fitted within the vehicle filler neck. Therefore, by using this AdBlue nozzle you cannot physically dispense into the wrong tank, as the diesel fill point will not contain a magnet.

The miss-filling of AdBlue™ into the diesel tank is a common issue and will be costly for the vehicle owner to put right. AdBlue™ is not compatible with many materials and miss-filling can corrode the pipework and components of a fuel system – resulting in thousands of pounds of damage, as well as having to pay for the removal of AdBlue™ from the tank.

This automatic AdBlue™ nozzle is a well-known branded ZVA AdBlue™ dispensing option approved for use in heavy use, resale environments, such as those seen at the forecourt and service station. Due to these approvals it carries a higher price that than alternative AdBlue nozzle models.

The Piusi Automatic Stainless Steel AdBlue™ Nozzle is used for the dispensing of urea, or DEF as it is referred to in the US. As an automatic nozzle, it is designed to shut off the flow when the tank is full, allowing the safe use of the integrated stay open latch. These AdBlue™ nozzles are constructed of stainless steel with a plastic hand guard for comfort, and are supplied with a 3⁄4” swivel hose tail for easy hose connection. Benefiting from an automatic shut off feature, when the vehicle tank becomes full, the nozzle shuts off and prevents any further fuel from being dispensed thus stopping an overfill scenario. Thanks to its maximum flow rate of 200 litres per minute, this is a high flow automatic fuel nozzle suited to installations where large volumes of diesel or petrol are required.

The Husky 1690 Diesel Nozzle is an extremely heavy duty, automatic nozzle for high flow, bulk fuel transfer for applications including rail, tanker or filling fuel storage tanks. Specially designed for heavy duty applications, this Husky fuel nozzle benefits from a right angle design allowing the nozzle to fit close to walls and corners and has a large hand opening to accommodate for gloves. An added advantage is that it is 30% lighter than other models on the market.

A further feature of the 1690 fuel nozzle is its dual poppet, which allows for the easy opening of the trigger nozzle even when high system pressure is present due to higher flow. Please note models with swivel may have a slightly reduced flow rate.
