2000 Litre NTS Steel Bunded Diesel Dispensing Tank

The Fuel Recirculation Unit was developed to prevent diesel fuel inside a storage tank from getting stagnant - particularly those with low usage such as generator back up tanks, that whilst not regularly used are of vital importance. When fuel sits stagnant for long periods of time, microbial growth known as diesel bugs begin to form, join together and create a nasty biofilm. By keeping the fuel moving and free of the contaminants that can get sucked into pumps, equipment and vehicles, costly damage and downtime can be avoided.

The fuel storage tank circulation system draws the fuel up from the front of the tank through the magnetic conditioner, which stuns the bugs, breaking them down into a size that will pass through a two stage water and particle filtration process to remove any impurities. The cleaner fuel is then circulated back into the tank, before the bugs have been able to group and create the nasty sludge.

The storage tank recirc unit has an input for connecting to an alarm/gauge to detect a low fuel level and a leak probe for a drip tray (if installed). Benefiting from a control panel with large, coloured lights, any issues that need to be dealt with i.e. filter blocked, low fuel level, a leak or a system fault can be easily diagnosed. If the system identifies any of the above issues, the pump will turn off until necessary action has been taken as a safeguard. Complete with two BMS outputs, the control panel can also send a signal of this to warn users remotely.

There are two versions of Fuel Tank Circulation System; one for circulating (50lpm) a maximum of 3000 litres per day for tanks up to 40,000 litres, and another for circulating (70lpm) a maximum of 4000 litres per day for tanks up to 70,000 litres. Tank contents should be recirculated every 28 days to prevent bacteria colonies from forming. Our systems are set to turn over 1.5 times the tank contents every 28 days to include a safety margin.

The GSM Text Alerter is a remote fuel tank level monitoring device suitable for fuel and oil tanks. This simple to install unit allows the user to set up four trigger inputs, which upon activation sends a customised text message to up to eight mobile phones. This oil tank monitor is designed to alert the user to a low fuel condition, or alert of a high level should they require to know when the tank needs emptying. By setting the probes at half full and low level, the Text Alerter can also be used to alert of a sudden drop in the fuel level when receiving two texts in short succession, which may indicate theft or tank containment failure.

There is also a version of this tank level monitoring device available without the probes. This is designed to be connected via its simple, clean contact inputs, to another device such as the output relays on a fuel tank alarm or the relays on the Piusi Ocio Gauge.

The Piusi K600/3 Fuel Pulse Meter is designed to count the delivery of diesel, lubrication oil, raps oil and anti-freeze at a maximum flow rate of 100lpm. These Piusi diesel pulse meters do not provide a reading, as they are generally used with an external system or display, when the amount of fuel used needs to be accessed elsewhere. The K600/3 fuel flow meter with pulse output is a versatile meter making it a solution for many applications.
